Default Replacement Fuel tanks

Got a 97 F-250HD with 7.3 looking for a rear fuel tank. Got a nice leak and want to get a Poly tank. I can't recall but I think my rear tank is 12 or a 14 gallon. How big can I go? Where can I get one? Do I have to pull it first to figure the nightmare out!

As I said in an earlier post I recently picked up a 2006 tank for an install in a 1999 extended cab. I'm looking for a wiring schematic for the fuel pump for a 2006 to determine the the proper connections for power supply plug coming from the 99 and connecting to the 06. Any cheap or free resources on the web that anyone knows of?

1999 Base F150, extended cab, 6.5' box, 4.2 six banger. I have a tank out of an exact 2006 model that's poly, not an exact fit as the tank is 2 foot longer but I think I can make it work. Now my issue is the wiring on the 2006 fuel pump. I need a schematic of the wire color codes to find the power "in" on the 06 pump and the sending unit wiring. Can't find a wire diagram for an 06 F150 just F250 and doesn't specify engine or model. Not sure I can assume they are the same.

Simon
https://fordpartsprime.com/ has a lot of hard to find and vintage OEM Ford parts that other sites just don't carry. Hope this helps.
