what type of sound? metal on metal? growl? screech?
probes have front wheel drive transaxles.....is it standard or automatic? did you replace the axle seals? did they leak? have you looked? have you checked fluid/gear oil level?
jack the front end into the air and get under it while wheels are moving and try to pinpoint the source...(FOLLOW safety precautions when getting under a car while its running...block wheels..etc) if your not sure...take a large screwdriver and place it against your ear and metal tip on parts of car to try and pinpoint source...
more info needed........

yeah it kinda sounds a little like metal on metal........its an automatic.......we just replaced the axles, like just the part that has the boot n stuff on........when we did it the fluids were ok.....................my only thing and i think this might be the problem....on the new axles we got they have this gear thing on but the old ones didnt...they are the same except for that gear....well we put them on anyways cause the gear thats on them was not in the way of anything for the most part...do you think that stuff could of shifted and now its rubbing something.............i really need to figure it out cause i dont have time to just rip everything apart cause of needing my car to drive to school and work....

Those gear things on the axles(CV shafts) are going to be the ABS sensor rings. Those rings may be rubbing on something with in the spindle mounts. My advice would be to jack up the car and get to a point where you can see these rings. If they are rubbing on something you will be able to see the damage on the "gear" teeth, if they are rubbing you will need to take the axles out and find out exactly what they are rubbing on. You may need to get CV Shafts that don't have the gear rings on them. One tip from a experienced "backyard" tinkerer, if the new parts don't look EXACTLY like the old parts you are taking out don't use them, go get the right part, and take the old parts to the parts house with you for comparison.
