My son and his wife have a 1998 Ford Expedition (Eddie Bauer), 5.4 litre, 4x4... all the bells and whistles. The problem is that when they start it (not always... sporadically) the expedition will run for a bit then shut down. They restart... it will run for a bit then shut down. They restart... it will run for a bit then shut down. And so on... oh yeah, it also does this at intersections and stop lights.

Further, it appears that once it gets "warmed up" or whatever it will (after a complete turn key off shut down) restart and run with no problems. Any ideas on what to look for, where to look and how to fix it? I mean, the vehicle is a fantastic vehicle... it's just becoming 'undependable'.
