1990 ford e150 club wagon 1/2 ton 5.0 EFI. I have two hoses; one which I know comes from the a.i.r. pump/smog pump...the other I don't know where it comes from and it isn't important since I know where it goes to. The hose sucking air attaches to the air filter cleaner housing case along the side of it. The second hose which is blowing air is the hose I do not know where it goes to. In the picture you see a hole in the air filter cleaner housing duct which is missing from my vehicle. Would the second hose that is blowing air attach to that duct? As you can see from the picture, the second hose sucking air runs along the side of the air cleaner housing and attaches to the side of it. It's the other hose blowing air that I think attaches to the hole (obviously something is missing from that hole) on the duct portion of the air cleaner housing assembly.

 

i found a picture of the hose routing for the air pump...the hose blowing air attaches to the air cleaner housing duct that has that hole in it. I'm sure a sensor probably sticks out of that hole for the hose to attach to. But thanks Hanky, you were right and I was providing incorrect information regarding the location of said hoses. The hose that sucks air is attached to the top of a check valve (i guess) running along the side of the passenger side of the engine to the back of the engine.
