I have a 2020 Explorer with SYNC3. I use 2 flash drives, exclusively, for my music. When I first crank the Explorer up the system will usually begin to play music from the flash drive I was previously using. This is what I want and what I expect. However, about a third of the time my flash drives are not initially recognized and the system reverts to SIRIUS, FM, or AM. I can then select "SOURCES" and the 2 flash drives will rather quickly appear and I can select the one I want to use. So the system will recognize the flash drives but sometimes it is not soon enough and I have to go through the routine described above. I can't find anything in my internet search that addresses this problem. Any suggestions?

 

I would buy a single new flash stick and see how it works.
