Default Will a 429 drop in a 1973 Gran Torino?

I just bought a straight excellent condition 1973 Gran Torino I found in Arizona for a grand. Has a 351 Cleveland in it. My question is this: I have built up a 429 and want to know if it will drop into this car without to much trouble. I know they put a 460 in the police models in 73.
Also, would this have the C-6 transmission in it or the C-4?
Thanks

Don't see why not since the 429 was one of the optional engines for the 1973 Gran Torino.

Thanks, I thought it would, but wanted to get an answer from those that have more knowledge about this than me.
