If your talking about the 'smog air' or 'thermactor manifold' at the back of the block that spans the heads is rotting out then best fix is a replacement.. If the manifold is coming apart or the check valve, then even trying to remove the valve usually destroys the tubing.. Being their at the back of the block making any repair there would be pretty tough and probably wouldn't last..
