2002 Ford Excursion Help
New to forum, hopefully I am posting correctly.
My question is about my 2002 Ford Excursion 5.4 v8 Triton complete tune up done last 8/2011 when I bought it used with 98000 miles. As of Saturday it was running like a champ that afternoon it started to hesitate as I accelerated and some what starting jerking, after a few minutes it returned to normal, i did use a gas station i normally don't use. For the past 2 days it continues to occur at different speeds and accelerations. So today, I took my King of the Road to my mechanic and after a couple of hours in the shop, they called and told me they couldn't find anything wrong. It was hooked up to the computer no codes, drove fine, engine idle normal. Please help or advice. Thank you.

If you did not get a record of the vehicle maintenance history, now would be a good time to start to keep a record of all maintenance done to the vehicle.
Did you get any records? If not, consider having the fuel filter replaced and ask whoever replaces it, to let you know if there was any water in it. As a preventive measure you could add a bottle of dry gas that contains isopropyl alcohol and that should help get rid of the water that may be in there.
