2002 Mustang dead in AM if not driven everyday and ABS problems
I have been having several issues with this car. It almost seems possessed.
1. It is dead in the AM if it isn't driven everyday.(Not sure if this is relevant)
I got a new battery last week but that didn't help.
2. ABS light and trak light goes on and off.(If ABS is on, so is trak)
I have spent 1000.00 trying to fix this problem. Replaced alternator, front brake pads and rotors turned, front end alignment, tune up with new wires, thermostat, radiator flush.
I thought it could be my stereo because it seemed that it was constantly seeking a cd track and changes the balance all by its self, all of which is intermittent.
I figure something might be placing a drain on the alternator not sure how to find it.
Thought I might unplug the fuse to the stereo and see if that might be it.
Can anyone help me troubleshoot these problems?

As you have probably noticed the first post was as far back as 2006 , so this is not a new problem.
To sit here and guess at what can be causing the problem doesn't help.
Suggest you find a good shop, maybe even a good dealership service dept and hopefully they have an experienced tech to check it out.
Throwing parts at it can get very expensive and disappointing as explained earlier. Sometimes a service bulletin is available to correct if applicable, if not it will require a "Sharp" tech to pin down the cause.
