So I brought a car with a clean title but when I start the car the engine light flashes for like 20 seconds then turns solid and stays lit.
I plugged the car into the auto zone computer and the code came up as
(THEFT DETECTED VEHICLE IMMOBILIZED)
i only got 1 key with the car and it has been opened as i can see evidence of glueing back together.
FYI car runs great and no problems just this confusing light
Any insight would be much appreciated

First of all , you should have at least 2 coded keys. Sometimes a key code will go haywire and the extra key can save you a lot of trouble.
Second- you can program addl keys , but you need 2 keys to do it.
There is a problem with the PATS (passive anti-theft system).
You have two options to get this straightened out, one is to go to a dealership and have the service dept reprogram 2 new keys for you, which(get an estimate first) will be required or seek out a local locksmith with the equip to do that for you. They will probably charge less. Sooner or later you will probably have problems getting the vehicle to start and that will require the same thing to be done plus there will be a road service charge and that can be avoided. This is one of those things that never gets better only worse as time goes by. As always a second or third opinion never hurts.
