2010 Taurus Ltd faded seats
My 2010 Taurus Limited with heated and cooled seats has a problem with the front half of the drivers seat fading. Only the front bottom half. The dealer was getting the run around from Ford and he suggested I enter a customer complaint. Don't get me started on that group. It depends on who you get on the other end of the phone to know after you hang up if you were helped or left dazed and confused. Anyway after many weeks of not hearing anything, I received a call from Mike, the Regional Service Tech from Ford. After telling me Ford says this is typical wear and tear, and would not be covered by Ford, he stated a really stupid thing. He told me Ford does not cover all repairs under their bumper to bumper warranty and that is why they did not have to go to the US Government for the loan. I was too dumbfounded to respond. Anyway, most likely my first and last Ford.

I'm sorry to hear the rotten response. However, working in the trenches, I've heard this a few times before.
In order to get any approval for seats or mirrors, or just about anything on the interior, we have to make sure Ford will cover it. They have been very, very strict about "wear items", and we have live with that. However, I hope Ford realizes how they treat customers.
