I have a basic radio. am/fm single CD. radio works but I have no lights on the display. this is a replacement for my original. Same part #. I can return the radio if I can't remedy the situation. I welcome any and all help. thank you.

 

Does everything else with the radio work OK ?

 

If all else works, a bulb or LED which back lights the LCD could be faulty.Did the light on the old radio work?
