Unfortunately, my 2010 ford edge se fwd is already having problems! I HAVEN'T OWNED IT FOR A WEEK!!! After doing some research online, I have concluded that the empahmous PTU Gasket is no good. I've smelled smoke inside of the car and this morning at 250 miles the transmission started jumping at 30 mph... and then later in the day it progressively got worse... the car started jumping at 20mph and 30 mph... The engine light is on and I have scheduled to have the car looked at on my 1 week anniversary. Woohoo... go Ford!

I hate to be pessimistic, BUT this doesn' look good. Several people have complained about Ford continuously replacing the faulty PTU gasket or the entire unit and it leaking again. I can't to hear what they have to tell me.
