Default 302 / 351 Clevland engine parts

Hi everyone. I am Aussie and buy a lot of stuff from the US. I have an engine rebuild coming up on a 302 Clevland block & am stumped that I cannot get a listing on it to match. To look at the engine there is no way to tell if it is a 302 or 351 when the engine is complete. This can only be done by removing a spark plug & measuring the piston drop. A 302 has a 3" stroke & the 351 has a 3.5" stroke. The Windsor 302 engine finished here in 1972. The Clevland was introduced in 1970 as a 351 then in '72 a 302 Clevland was released. In '76 our first pollution model was released which ran an EGR system through the intake manifold and ran a 4bbl thermoquad carb. 2V & 4V versions were available of both sized engines.
My biggest problem is to ensure I order the right parts. From what I can gather, I should be able to order everything for a 351C engine & it should fit my 302C block. I am not sure about the pistons though. They may have different compression heights. The 302C has a main journal dia 2.750" & big end journals of 2.310", same as the 351C.
I generally deal with Northern Auto Parts, Summit Racing & Speedway. Northern told me they have no listing on a 302 Clevland. ???
I am worried that should I order the wrong parts, I am basically stuck with them. Is anyone able to help me with a year, model of a US vehicle fitted with a 302 Clevland engine. Once I have a model & year I can search for parts with a little more confidence that I will get everything to fit. Cheers for your help.

the 302 was and is a small block engine therefore there is no 302c the 351C is the big block and the 351w is the small block and then you have a 351M which was a cleaveland block modified to a 400. there never was a 302 C by ford in the usa ,cause ford never made one what you have is a 351C. this should help you in your search for parts

it,s because a 302 is not a cleveland engine ! a 351 is a cleveland ! a 302 is a small block, a 351 windsor is a small block but a 351 c is a big block like the 400 ! maybe your thinking about a 302 boss !

Thanks fellas,
It is now clear. The 302C engine is Australian and never used in the US. Further research has shown that I can purchase all the parts I need for a 351C and they will fit the 302C. I simply looked up all the parts for a 302C in Australia, then looked up all the parts for a 351C. Everything is the same except the crank & rods. Just for the purpose of engine recognition I will list all the features of my 302 block. You will swear it to be a 351C, as I said you must measure the stroke to tell if it is a 302 or 351.
1) The timing cover is a flat plate - the chain set-up is within the block
2) the fuel pump is mounted on the block & the two bolts are top & bottom of the pump
3) the thermostat housing is in the block not the intake manifold & points upwards
4) The heads take 14mm tapered seat spark plugs
5) The tappet cover gaskets are rectangle shape
All of the above is the same for the 351C engine.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
