I am new on here so hello to everyone!

I have a 2008 C-Max 1.8 petrol flexi-fuel and i have a small question about it, whenever i dip the engine for oil, the dipstick shows nothing.
if i dip the car on a very flat surface and when the car has not been started for many hours it will show an oil level, however if try to dip the oil twice, ie without changing anything if i pull out the dipstick check the oil wipe the dipstick clean and try and check the oil again right away then the dipstick shows no oil.

Has anyone else ever encountered anything like this, when i talk to the main dealer they tell me this is because the oil needs changing!!!! this cannot be every week!
