I have 98 Mustang GT 4.6 V8 and the hose's that connect to the DPFE sensor came off and melted the sensor. Now I know I have to replace the sensor which I plan to buy very soon. My question is. What is causing the hose to come off in the first place? Could something be clogged up and to much pressure is causing the problem? I just don't want to buy another DPFE sensor and then have it melted again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
