Default First Thread - Stay tuned if you love dent side trucks

So I'm new to the forum community but I already like what I see here. Well I'm just a small town kid with car dreams much deeper than my wallet. I like all that small town stuff; hunting, fishing, wheeling up in the mountains. I'm just working hard and living the dream! If you like classic trucks or 4 wheel drives your gonna like hearing what I've got going on underneath my shade tree.

List of my trucks:
'07 Ranger extended cab 100% stock and all original, 4.0l SOHC v6, automatic, 4x4. Just driving it as my daily until I fix up my 77 F100.

'73 F350 Super Camper Special; 141k miles, all original besides new chrome jackman wheels. The plan is to 4x4 swap it and put a 90's 7.5l with overdrive transmission in it. I know what all you old geezers are thinking, KEEP IT ALL ORIGINAL IT'S WORTH SO MUCH MORE! But it's my truck and I am not going to sell it so I'm building it the way I want it.

'75 F150 shortbed 4x4; building this truck up right now for the Rubicon trail next summer. 351w fuel injected, NP435 trans and a NP203/205 doubler, spooled Super Duty axles and 5.13 gears on 37" KM2's. If I did my math correctly I'll be at 325 ft lbs torque and 137:1 crawl ratio.

'77 F100 2wd; I've got two other trucks to build before I can get started on this thing, but mark my words I WILL make it a crown vic truck eventually. I'm going to buy a government surplus crown vic and throw all of the drivetrain under this frame and use it as my daily driver. Police interceptor 4.6l v8 with a computer tune should put me at about 300 horses to the flywheel and 24-27 miles per gallon.

Estimated finish date for these trucks is about 2022 or so. Now if you don't mind, it's time for me to get off the keyboard and start turning wrenches because I've got WAYYY too much work ahead of me.

Yep! you have a lot going on alright! Good luck with all that! That Crown Vic project sounds similar to a project I did once, only it was with a Lincoln 351M, Lunati cam and lifters, edelbrock manifold, Holley, headers, and a C6 trans with a shift kit.
