Ford F100 '67. Car questions! New to the forum!
Hey! I'm new to the forum!
I just purchased a 1967 Ford F100 and am looking for a little advice.
First thing: The brake pedal is shorter and higher then the gas pedal, which makes the switching back and forth a little difficult. Could I replace the brake pedal with any ford truck brake pedal, or do i have to search out a '67 pedal? I'm not too concerned with keeping everything original, just thinking that the inconsistency between pedal height may be a driving hazard if I have to break very suddenly! this was clearly a modification that the previous owner made on the truck.
Secondly: The gas gauge and the temperature gauge are busted. Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to get these repaired? not sure if it is the gauge itself or the part that would be sending info to the gauge. Any information at all would be very helpful! Thanks a lot!!
