Greetings!
Greetings! My name is Andy, and I live in the stinking hot (102 today) High Desert of Southern California. The desert does make for some nice rust free sheetmetal though. I found this site while looking for info on swapping the C4 in my 68 Fairlane Wagon for an AOD. Mainly, clearance issues, and how to set up the TV cable on a carbureted engine. I have owned quite a few Ford products over the years, my first on the road car was a 60 Comet in the early 70's. I also have a pretty good friend that let me drive his 2006 Ford GT! Dark blue with no stripes. Well that's all, I hope to meet some of you folks in the future!

RE: Greetings!
I have driven the car twice now, once by myself. Pretty awesome, attracts a LOT of attention, including the police making a u-turn and following us. The time I did drive it alone, when I got back they wanted to know how I liked the stereo. I said I never turned it on, I was listening to the blower right next to my head! I will have my son figure out how to post pictures of the car.

RE: Greetings!
Welcome Andy, I remember thise hot desert days. I lived in Victorville for a few years. Now in the SFV area, it gets hot here as well. I had the luxury of installing a garage door opener last year that turned out to be the hottest day ever recorded in LA at close to 120F.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
That must have been awesome driving that GT. They sound great. Last time I had the maintenance service done on the mustang, someone had just bought 2 red ones with white stripes. They were pulling them in to get it's final check.
