Hi from the otherside. Volunteer sought.
Hello America,
I am from the other side of the pond. I am a UK Ford enthusiast currently running a Ford Garnada 2.9L V6 Cosworth. These cars were sold in the US badged as Merkur Scorpios I believe, but were not sold with this engine in the US.
My main are of interest is engine management units and I have spent a considerable amount of time developing an EEC IV Fault Code Reader. My unit reads 3 and 2 digit codes, stores the last set of results even when the unit is switched off, and can dump a set of test results to a PC. Full details are on my website.
This is where the volunteer is needed. I know my unit works on EU EEC IVs but I would like to know if it would work with US EEC IVs. Would anyone like to volunteer to build one, and try it on there car. I would supply them with a free pre-programmed PIC to complete.
Although I am not selling anything if this post is deemed to contravene the forum rules I do apologize and please delete.
Graham
