Installed Different Transmission No Start

The theft light flashes, when you put key in ignition to start it stays on
were is starter relay diode located

Default 99 Cougar will not start

When you turn key on security light will flash once then twice continually
in this pattern Does that mean the security system has been tripped
And if so how do you reset we disconnected battery cable for 90 seconds

almost sounds like the keys need to be programmed. not sure how they lost their program. you have to have it towed to a ford dealer and you have to have 2 keys to have it done. typically cost around 100.00

The Key The car has doesn't have a chip on it does that make a difference Thanks

no. it has one built in to it. you cant see it.
