BAM! [:@]
I'd like to say hello to all forum members, looking foward to learning some of what you guys know and sharing some info with you all. I work as a Auto Tech or Mechanic whatever you want to call it (mostly OBDII Inspections, brakes, some machining , axle's and suspention, exhust, maintenance like engine and transmission, coolant flushing, tune ups) The shop I work at does more then that but, thats just what I handle on a daily basis "the quick stuff". I have overhauled a couple of engines but they were both Chevy's. The Ford Ranger I speak so highly of is my first Ford and I would'nt trade it for anything... I have always been a Chevy man (especially classics) but, I bought this truck brand spanking new my brother (who is a Ford man) kept giving me **** about always buying Chevy's so I bought the truck to kind of shut him up and prove that ford's were ahhh...junk, so I could complain later... well here I am 12 almost 13 yrs later still driving the same ford truck (did I just say 13 yrs!!!) I am impressed. It's a 1994 Ford Ranger STX 4x2 ext cab w/ 3.0 L V6 5 spd transmission , I have 109,453 miles on it, it's just had its first tuneup. Its still just as clean and new looking as the day I bought it too. I added a fiberglass tonneau cover color matched of coarse. So very happy with my ford truck. Now I am looking to bring it into the new age look with a 1-3 inch drop in the front and 4 inch drop in the rear (properly done!!!) I'd like to add 20x8.5 (front) & 20x10 (rear) boyd coddington slayer rims wraped in toyo low pro's, some custom graphics/artwork (no, not that **** you buy at autozone) done by a friend of mine that does airbrushing (man he is good too) and a kick *** audio system.. not real big on just hearing bass thumping either.
Since I am no where near starting this project its not a definate thing yet.... but I would like to do it, and gather information before the first bolt is even thought about being turned.
at any rate Im looking forard to posts and replys.
