Default New to forum with questions........

My sister has a 2000 Ford F-150 4X4 with a 5.4 liter, V8, Elec 4sp. Auto with O/D, Tow class III, 3.55 ratiolimited slip axle. She needs to know if she can haul a Jayco pop-up camper AND pull a 18' travel trailer with equalizer bars. She plans to haul from Alaska to Oregon in July. Not sure it can handle both. She said there's a piece of paper in her manual that says NOT to haul a slide-in camper, but then goes on to say how to load it. ?????

Any advice????
Thanks

They probably wrote it that way to give you the basic idea NOT to do both. It would likely smack up the slide-in and trailer in a tight turn if it overhangs the bed in any way.

I have two fords the smaller is a f150 with the 5.4ltr. your sisters truck has plenty of power but the question is can it stop the weight ok. I used my f150 supercrew for contract work for over a year and it pulled 16ft. trailer great but roasted the breaks.
