Good Morning Jeff !
Sorry to see and hear what you guys there are going through.
Welcome to the site.
Been down there at the shore many times and used to have breakfast at Mc Donalds in Avon by the Sea. From what I have seen on TV how did you escape damage to your chariots?

my cars are stored in a pole barn garage inland,I am near the shore but i'm on the mainland. this area did very well except for areas near the bay or Long Beach Island.
Good thing, the north end Barnegat Light where my dad lives in the same house since i was 3 did great, they had some flooding on the bay side but they have built up the beaches and dunes over the years so he ocean never breached there. Seaside and the northern barrier islands had alot of structures built right on the beach and why they had so much destruction.the south end of LBI went under as they never built up their beaches or dunes so it got washed over by the ocean and the bay met with it.I'm glad BL did so well as that is where the famous lighthouse Old Barney is at and still stands proudly, They got power back yesterday which was good cause it has gotten cold and there where alot who stayed on the island. My brother was there through it all at the Fire Dept in Barnegat Light as emergency personnel and ust came home yesterday for the first time since before the storm

Welcome to the site Jeff..
What a mess..
I was in the quake of 89 in the SF Bay Area and had just gotten back from the east bay where the Cypress structure (double deck freeway) collapsed, missed be 'under it' by about 20 minutes.. Glad to see you here, and that all was ok....
