Default New Guy From Tennessee

How you all doing? I was searching for some stuff on the net and came across this site. Someone was looking for info about a supercharger. His post was dated 2006 but maybe he is still looking. He wanted info on a Pesco supercharger. They were made by Pesco Products in Cleveland, Ohio. They were used on Offenhauser racing engines and some aircraft applications. I have a complete working unit. It is a roots type supercharger. Mine is a model K-25060, type 3007. I think it was made in the late sixties. I don't know if they are still made. Now about me. I retired 13 years ago from Chrysler Centeral Engineering. I worked in power plant development. I got to work on all the new and odd stuff. Most of the projects were about 7 years ahead of production. It was very interesting work. Now I have a shop where I build engines and fab chassis and roll bars.I also do body work on older cars and trucks. Right now I am working on a 1958 Chevy pickup. In the engine part of the shop I am doing an engine for a 7 second drag bike. I enjoy working on anything powerfull or old. One of my old rides was a 1965 Ford wagon with a 427 four speed. Itsurprized a lot of people. My name comes from one of my ventures with a Dakota 4X4. I put a 528 crate Hemi in it. It cost more to put the engine in it than the engine cost. First time out the main crossmember in the frame snapped. Kinda bent things up a bit also. I pulled the engine and sold it to a friend in Georgia. Well I talked enough, time to let someone else have a turn. Dan

Yep, it can seem that way. This site doesn't have alot of regulars here. Alot of people seem to come on and ask a question and that is it.

Welcome...

Sounds like an interesting career! Retirement sounds pretty busy as well.. I'm a bit hooked on speed and adrenaline myself.. Whats the drag bike build?

The bike is a Suzuki 1150. You can see it run on You Tube ,Air Mechanical Videos. It is under Airmechanical toys. It turns 4.50 in the 1/8 and about 7.0 in the 1/4. It is pushing about 450 HP. Right now I am repairing it because a rocker arm broke and got caught up in the timming chain. We hope to get it back on the track before the end of this season. Dan
