Default Newbies need some help

Hi all hopefully someone could help us out . We are in the UK and have a 1994 ford e350 7.5 v8 on gas jayco built motorhome . The ecu has given up the ghost . Is there anyone that would have a good second hand one and would post to the UK??
Thanks in advance.

If it is not too much trouble, could you tell us what the problem was and how it was determined to be the ECU ?

The reason we ask is many times the ECU gets blamed for a problem that has eluded the person checking the vehicle.

Lets hope you won't need a replacement ECU.

Hi , thanyou for your reply, I went to it one day turned the key and it just spun over not even fired. . I checked for spark which it had. Fuel which it did in the tank but that's as far as it gets. After checking relays fuses . And earths .I fed it some fuel and it fired up . So I removed the ecu to find it rattling. After taking the lid off I found two capacitors to be be floating around and lots of green on the tracks and soldered joints. Gave it to guy who said he could fix it . He got power to injectors but both sides and still no fuel pump prime or even on crank. I then find he put his own tricks in to bypass the bad ones. So I think when I gave it power it knocked more out. The wiring is all fine it is 100% ecu fault

There are three electrolytic caps on the pc board, I hope he changed all three and not just two. Also, the dielectric which could have leaked out may have damage the traces on the circuit board. That can be repaired.
There are no tricks to bypass the capacitors. They must be replaced.. He may have put jumper wires in the repair damaged circuit board traces which is perfectly fine to do.

"IF" one can be quickly obtained then just replace it. With supply chain issues, getting one can be the hard part.
Best of luck to you.
