Default Plugged in trailer lights, truck wont start now

Hi guys, hopefully someone can help me. Plugged in lights from a trailer, to go start making money for our soon to be expected $5 per gallon. Now truck wont start. My friend 'grounded' one of the wires to the trailer when the plug was plugged into the truck; and now the truck wont start. Any ideas?

It sounds trite I know, but check the fuses (especially in the power distribution box under the hood) after you disconnect whatever it was that caused this. Then you'll know (at least) if this is coincidental or some other problem.
