Default turn signal

Hi folks, new guy here with a problem. I have a 2000 Ford Windstar. the problem is that the LR turn signal light stays on even w/o key in the ignition. But it's not blinking, instrument panel does show faulty light and fuses are fine. ps this may be of some help my power door locks stopped working at the same time.

Welcome to the site ohbay.

Do you have a chassis manual or electrical schematic for the vehicle?

I'm sure that one of the techs will be here to answer your question. They're good diagnosticians.

Enjoy
Ron

Probably the first thing to try would be to 'tap lightly' on the relays in the CJB (central junction box) and see if the tail lamp goes out.. If not,, switch the #3 for the #4 relay position and see if the lamp steady 'on' moves over to the other side of the van.. If so,, the relay is bad.. If not,, and including the door lock issues you statedit could be the REM (rear electronic module) causing both concerns.. Which locks have failed? the Right door actuator?liftgate, R slider, Left slider ect... Any still work??
