Default Powertrain

So I have a 21 Ranger, the hubs has a 19 F150. Last week my power train malfunction light came on. I called every dealership around and not one could get me in. I travel for a living so I needed it looked at ASAP. Every dealership I spoke with told me no worries it will go out. Well, I still havent been to a shop and the light is out although my truck does not feel right. Well today, my husband's truck did the same dang thing. Has anyone else experienced this?

If you can, in your travels stop at an Autozone store. They will check your vehicle for any codes, free of charge. I would not purchase anything yet until we know just what is going on. Post the code(s) here, maybe we can offer some useful suggestions. At least it almost as good as having a shop look at it.Can you do that ?.
