1999 Mustang GT 4.6L SOC V-8 Intake
I am the original owner of a 35th Anniversry Edition Mustang GT. My Tang has less than 30,000 miles on it, which may be why the all composite intake manifold has waited until now to start leaking in the cooling passage. I have tried to get Ford to step up, but no luck so far, and the local dealer is only offering a marginal discount on a new intake manifold. Can anyone advise me on how to get fair treatment on this issuse?

Ford lost a class action lawsuit and had to reimburse for 'qualifying' vehicle repairs for7years from the vehicles sale date.. It was called the Chamberlan Settlement.. Any repairs and/or failures after that time is no longer covered.. Your servicing dealer may help you out, but Ford isn't being held accountable for failures beyond the settlement agreement.. The replacement manifold was re-engineered with analuminium first runner/coolant passage to correct the issue...
