1976 Ford Elite (quick question)
so I just got myself a 76' elite and I need to air up the tires a little bit but I don't know how to take the hub cap off to get to the air tube. would a crowbar work and would it go back on?

Welcome to the site..
Looks to be in petty good shape for its vintage..
Usually the tire iron/lug wrench had a flat area on the end to remove the wheel covers. May still be in the trunk? You can use anything like a large screwdriver, flat bar, anything that will get under the wheel cover lip. Pry outward while moving around the cover. Most of the cars with wheel covers had valve stem 'extenders' so that they protrude out beyond the cover. Their available in a few lenghts and any parts supply would have them..

nice car ! see if the centers will come off ! if they do then it probably takes a special wrench to take the hub caps off ! i had a olds once that had wire spoke hub caps and you have to remove the centers and use a special wrench to take them off !
