Where is the coolent temperture sensor located on a 2001 Lincoln LS with the 3.9L V-8.

It's in the air cleaner outlet pipe just downstream of the mass air flow sensor..

Not the air temperture sensor,the coolent/water temperture sensor.

The coolant temp is taken through the cylinder head temp sensor under the intake manifold/head..
