I am selling my 02 ford explorer XLT, it has 83,000 miles, and is obviously sold AS IS. The XLT comes standard with, power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt, cruise control, courtesy lights under driver side and passanger mirror, keyless entry, and CD. I bought this vehicle in 02' WITH 15k MILES it is a 2 time owner, and has a CLEAN CAR FAX. The car is in great shape on the outside, inside I have 2 holes in the headrest where I had TV's (so it is wired for TV's great for kids and stylish!) If not, it's nothing a seat cover couldn't fix. Lots of extras:

Extras (positive):
Brand new AC unit, the whole unit (cost $2000)
After market boston acoustic door speakers and tweeters ($700)
After market chrome running boards ($450)
After market billet grill, top and bottom ($200)
Brand new pulleys and serpentine belt ($175-200)
After market clear cornor head lamps ($150)
Tow hitch ($150)
Deep privacy tint ($150)
Custom exhaust to the side (behind driver side rear tire)($200)


Negatives:

1. Leather is cracked on driver and passanger side (normal wear and tear)
2. In the trunk I am missing the trunk liner (hard to explain you have to see it)
3. Pealing of paint on roof rack needs to be touched up

Otherwise the car is in great shape and is a great buy for someone looking for a reliable SUV, I have kept up with regular maintanance, such as oil changes, tire rotation, always used mid grade gas, and changed filters. All in all the car runs great, it's just older and I want to get something new. I have searched around and my cars Kelly blue book "private party" value is $9,750 in "good" condition, I also searched on auto trader.com and the cheapest 02 explorer XLT is $10,999 then you have all the dealers fees which is another 1700-2000 Dollars. Granted I know my vehicle isnt in mint condition like these and needs a little work, I am only asking $7999 for it. Save yourself a good $5,000.
