Socal: *Free* topper for 2003 SuperCrew
First of all, sorry if any sales/classified type stuff doesn't belong in here.
Anyone want a FREE camper shell for their F150 SuperCrew? Mines a 2003 and it should fit 1998-2003 if I'm not mistaken. The shell is black. Mines the early 03 right before the new style came out, I don't know if it'll fit the new style. you guys probably do.
I'll deliver it to you/meet you within 15 miles or so if you've got at least 1 or 2 people at your destination to lift it off my truck and onto yours, or into your garage, etc. I'm in West LA.
THE CATCH: Its a little smashed up. I left the door up and backup up in my building's parking garage. The door got tweaked badly and the last six inches of the roof of the shell is cracked. The damage: the door's hard to work, and doesn't lock. So basically it doesn't look sexy but if you want to weatherproof a load, gotta move, or camp under it, etc you're still good to go. The locks on camper shells are a joke anyway.
Also, a bodyshop can patch up the fiberglass and probably get the shell up to spec again. Its a jeraco shell, cab high with sliding windows with screens.
WHY AM I UNLOADING IT: Because I'm trading in my truck in a week or two and the dealership will use the condition of the shell as a bargaining chip to give me less for my truck.
Please don't PM: 150shell@protocol0.com
