New member im looking for a good used t-5 trans and bellhousing for a 1969 302 to go in my 1931 roadster im in alabama thanks guys

 

I have a rebuilt T-5 I never got around to using, out of '92 Mustang sitting in my garage at home in Missouri, but I will not get back there from here (Arizona) for about 6 weeks. How soon are you needing the trans? Also have several bell housings for same vintage Mustangs, brand new. Have you decided what means of clutch release you will use? These bells are of course made for use with the Mustang cable-release system, which I personally prefer over "juice" clutch releases by a long shot, mechanical being best, most of those old ones are cast iron, though, heavy.

The T-5 is yours, $500, bell housing $20, you pay shipping, UPS will carry, I'm sure. Only problem is time......if you have interest, I have also 2 brand-new 5.0L HO Mustang engines complete, these came from Ford Motorsports, when they were selling out the inventory.

Thanks for the reply, time is not a issue im wondering why cable set up would be better, ive been pricing hydrolic set ups only for space reasons on my 31 roadster but cable would be cheaper, just going by what ive read ads say hyd s are smoother but i have no past experince with them, car came with 5.0 cable set up cable broke secound day after buying the car thats what started this snowball rolling ha ha, would rather go with advice from some one with past experince ,let me know what you think may be we can work something out, also how much for a engine maybe ill drive to pick up thanks bob in alabama
