Default AOD's

i see some people really dont like the AOD mustangs n' such. I see nothing wrong with them. Anyone back me up w/ that? i know GMkiller will

I agree that the AOD is a good transmission and properly maintained with the right rear end gears and a good shift kit and cooler it is a killer tranny on the street and strip. I have never lost a race missing a gear either!

true but it is most people choice is to stick with what they know and i dont blame them. aod's are fun to drive set up right but the c-4 are just bad ***!

that's true too, but the C-4's are ancient technology and they AOD has less parasitic drag than the C-4's do and this can mean more rear wheel horsepower plus the AOD has the advantage of an overdrive which the C-4's don't have and this can make a big difference in gas mileage on the street, especially with the high prices of premium fuel nowadays!
