up to how many miles might a well-maintained 1997 Ford Aerostar Van 4WD XL get?

 

Depends on how well the body holds up. A trait of the Aerostar isrocker rot depending on where it lives. I bought a 1992 XLT Extended new and sold it in 2004 when we bought our 2004 Freestar. It had 247,000 miles on it when we sold it. Had the front and rear springs replaced. I did the rears as I had to do the fronts. One set of rocker panels under warrany, 2 sets of shocks, numberous exhaust pipes/mufflers (WNY Rust), tune ups, fuel filters, coolant flushed every 2 yearsand AMSOIL in everything. Didn't leak or use oil when I sold it and still got 27-30 MPG. Normal maintainence and care and you should have many happy miles.
