i have a 98 windstar 3.8and im moving to the west coast and i want to tow dolly a 98 zx2. do you think it can handel it?

 

I would strongly suggest renting a truck. The 3.8 liter does not have the pulling power, even though it is "rated to tow 3500lbs". I am not sure of the ZX2's weight but I assume it has to be at or above 2500lbs and dolly weight 200-300lbs total 2800........Now determine 98 van weight (95 w/ 3.8 3 row seating & rear a/c w/ fully tank of gas wieghs about 4000lbs, GVW 5200),add people, bags, boxes..... then add minimum of 10% of towing weight are you over the GVW for the van??In addition I drove I-70 thru rockies and I-80 thru Serrias both of which will challenge the vanif it is any were near gross weight without a trailer or dolly, and with a tow dollyas they do nothave trailer brakes you may burn out your brakes...........
